Gamshy’s an interesting Italian boutique studio that launched in 2016 out of Rome with CEO Andrea Sipone at the helm. They’re definitely younger and smaller than most providers on this list, but what they lack in quantity they make up for in distinctive visual style – mixing 2D and 3D graphics in ways that make their games instantly recognizable. Their portfolio’s compact at around 9-15 titles, but each one’s got serious production value with titles like Bad Monsters, Kraken Island, Sweet Maniacs, Jumping Sushi, and Tubularium showing real creativity. They built their own proprietary platform called ENGY specifically to deliver smooth, innovative gameplay experiences. What’s cool is they’re certified by both iTech Labs and BMM Testlabs, so despite being small, they’re playing by all the rules. Their games are HTML5-based and work across all devices with high resolutions, and they’ve got partnerships with some big names like Relax Gaming (through Powered By Relax), Slotegrator, and Microgame. Sipone was even nominated for Best Industry Rising Star at the 2019 G2E Asia Awards, which shows the industry’s taking notice. They’re all about responsible gaming and offering operators marketing tools like customizable free spins and tournaments from the back office. Still waiting for them to really break out internationally, but the foundation’s solid.
